Firstly, the free version of Wordfence is more than enough to use when protecting your website files. You can set up regular scans and when an issue occurs you’re notified instantly and advised to repair or remove the malware infected file or files.
Note: Removing files off the cuff without looking into it can break your website, our advice would be the back your website files up before removing any important files.
The alternative way would be to locate the suggested malware code and manually going into that file and removing it.

Secondly, Wordfence’s firewall is reliable as it shows every attack that has been blocked on your website, giving you the amount of times it has protected your website and showing you what kind of attack was made.
You can also adjust your allow list to allow certain ip addresses. For example, if you have a static IP address in an office or on a permanent internet connection and you want to configure Wordfence to always allow that IP address to bypass any rules, then you can enable this option.
